First Touch of Electricity
by VIM

A technological adventure that transforms the stage into a multi-dimensional musical installation

VIM will present its debut solo concert First Touch of Electricity, on 23 April 2011 (Sat) at Multi-media Theatre, HKICC Lee Shau Kee School of Creativity.

First Touch of Electricity, debut solo concert of VIM (Volt in Music), is a technological adventure which presents the innovative approach of the group to communicating musical exploration and electronic discovery. Making use of interactive digital music, evocative video images, visionary stage design and collaborative thinking, the performance creatively transcends the boundaries between multimedia arts performance and traditional music concert.

VIM is a local electronic music group with 2 members, HOMHIM and K, with the vision in “converting voltage into music”. The group makes use of a vast array of electronic instruments to blend unique sounds and music, sometime with images and animation and render extraordinary experiences of a musical performance. VIM was selected by Time Out Magazine as one of the Top Ten Indie Bands 2009 and was awarded the Best Performance Group in the Tom Lee Interzone Digital Music Awards. The group was invited to such art festivals as New Vision Arts Festival, Clockenflap Festival and International Festival of Electronic Art 404.

本地新進電子樂隊組合VIM將於2011423日(星期六)晚上8時假香港兆基創意書院多媒體劇場舉辦多媒體電子音樂會First Touch of Electricity
